76 YO Former Oxford Professor Living On Delhi Roads Gets A Home; Thanx Social Media

We all know that spreading information on Social Media is the fastest way to get the news out there. And, thankfully, this worked out well for a 76-year-old former Oxford professor living on the streets of Delhi.

Raja Singh Phull was found sitting on the sidewalk by a good samaritan near New Delhi Railway Station. The old man claimed to have been living this way for the past 4 decades and also mentioned that he’s a former Oxford professor.

He ended up in Delhi after an unsuccessful business venture in Mumbai. In fact, he was even left with nothing by his two sons. And since begging was never an option for him he would line up outside the railway offices to help people fill out forms and earn some money.

Moreover, on the days when he couldn’t get a meal, he would go to Bangla Sahib for the langar.

Now, thanks to his story going viral on Facebook, he has moved into an old age home.

So, if you’re feeling inspired, join hands in giving a better life to the homeless people in Delhi.
