- Desi Roots is an incorporation of musicians/artists who have practiced and performed art over a decade of years and have specialized in Sufi & Bollywood music for corporate, college/university and private events.
- Some of the members of the band Desi Roots take pride in working and associating with Bollywood artists like Swanand Kirkire, Harshdeep kaur, Jasbir Jassi, Indian Ocean and many more.
- Desi Roots has even composed the title track of the film “Sharafat Gayi Tel lene”.
- Their first single/video – Main Kyun Chahoon has been featured on MTV Indies and Desi Roots desires to represent combined Indian cultures and its heritage to the world map of the music industry.
