If you’re bored of going to the usual libraries in the city, forget about it! The boredom of sitting in long halls, with no opportunity to speak with like-minded people just got hacked. Sister Library – a travelling library powered by female excellence – is coming to Shahpur Jat on Saturday.
And they’re bringing along hundreds of works by women writers, artists & zine makers. In their own words, the entire activity is “an evolving and generative artwork that engages with in-depth reflection on the visual and reading culture of our times.”
So, the entire objective of the project is to bring together readers to explore the literary contributions of women. Also, to facilitate reading of female authors and to create a safe space for people to come together to explore the pleasure of reading and creating.
