After taking permits from the University Grants Commission (UGC), the authorities of the College of Vocational Studies, Delhi University is planning to built infrastructure for the Master level program in their seven courses. CVS is one of the colleges in Delhi that offer regular three-year degree vocational courses.
The idea behind starting two year PG course is to give exposure to all the students who wish to pursue higher studies in vocational education or research in that discipline. The college offers seven courses in vocational studies namely – human resource management, marketing management and retail business, tourism management, office management and secretarial practice, management, and marketing of insurance, material management, and small and medium enterprises along with honors courses.
Talking about their main vocational courses, they offer specialization to the students by giving them practical knowledge of the discipline they choose. The college’s unique structure is also helping out the parents to change their minds as they used to think that honors courses can only provide credibility to their students. With these specialized courses, you can get the field knowledge on the topics that are usually offered at the Master’s level.
So, this is indeed an amazing initiative by the college to introduce PG for their unique courses.
