Know It All In 30 Seconds
Delhi airport is going eco-friendly, as it has come up with four cafeterias built entirely by recycling scraps generated from the revamping of Terminal 1D and Terminal 3. Visitors and staffs can relish savouries from these cafeterias located at the domestic and international terminals of the airport.
The airport operator has been genius in constructing creative lamp shades, striking grid ceilings, seating arrangements and tabletops by remoulding ruined machine components, airport building scraps, concrete boards, plastic and metallic junks, and so on.
The four cafeterias are positioned at four different junctures of the airport-one at the third level of T-3, one in the T-3 basement, one near T-2 entry and one near the parking zone. The airport authority has notified that they are looking forward to recycling more of reusable fabrics to pave the way for numerous similar facilities.
Kudos to such an innovative approach by the Delhi airport!
