We recently told you about this great theatre festival coming to Delhi! So, only 7 days are left and we’re unable to hold the excitement inside!! Moreover, if you saw the number of plays and the actors coming, even you’d burst open with level 10 excitement.
So, here’s the deal guys, Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Paresh Rawal are only a few of the iconic names. Names that will not just be coming to the festival but also participating as actors. Now, that’s what we call a festival worth remembering for a very, very long time!
In fact, Dopehri by Pankaj Kapur catches the essence of loneliness that comes with old age. Besides this, you can also catch – Ismat Apa Ke Naam, a hard-hitting play that revolves around taboos in India. The play will feature Naseeruddin Shah – a treat to the senses of the audience, his acting is ingenious!
Moreover, did we mention that the festival is India’s largest & will be in Delhi for 3 whole days?
Ps. So, the Delhi Theatre Festival will take place in two different locations in Delhi. One in Gurgaon and one in South Delhi! Now, you can imagine how easy it would be for you to check out all the plays in the weekend!
