Delhi Poetry Slam is organising the city’s most awaited poetry war. The peeps at Delhi Poetry Slam are giving youth & teenagers of Delhi the opportunity to compete to be the Slam Champion! The stage is set, the microphone is on & its awaiting your attention & your words.
30 Second Window:
- The Championship has 3 rounds of rigorous battle between the poets. The rules of which are simple – poem not exceeding 3 mins, self written, poem memorised & props allowed!
- Now the catch here is that the audience will be the judge of your poems! That’s right! Five random people will be given the power to determine your fate. The poems will be scored & the winners will proceed to the next round.
- Therefore, it is highly recommended that you watch videos of popular slam poets. Like – Staceyann Chin, Andrea Gibson, Saul Williams & Suli Breaks to bring finesse to your work! Unless you have previous experience doing this!
