Delhi Will Better Be This Diwali!! Cleaner And Lesser Polluted Air This Season!

Union environment ministry and Central Pollution Control Board said the city is likely to breathe better this Diwali. Based on forecasts of meteorological conditions and anti-pollution steps which have begun to show results.

The recent ban by Supreme Court on the sale of firecrackers will add to controlling the air pollution in the city.

Last year the aftermath of Diwali was a nightmare. This year has seen more moderate days and fewer poor days. However a full enforcement of the ban on firecracker sales is not expected. But other measures like the entry and exit of heavy vehicles is also being restricted.

Though the government is in full swing to ensure lesser pollution this year, we mustn’t forget our contribution to it! o:)
