Elevated Corridors and Underpasses To Come Up In The Qutub Way

Know It All In 30 Seconds

Tired of illegally parked vehicles and infuriating traffic on the Adchini-Mehrauli road while trying to land up to Qutub Minar? Well, its time to take a breath of relief ‘coz the Public Works Department is planning to decongest the road with an elevated corridor and two underpasses.

Among the two 500-metre long underpasses, one will go beneath the IIT flyover and open up at Essex Farm, and the other one will start at Mehrauli-Badarpur Road and end up at Aurobindo Marg. The 3-km-long elevated corridor with six lanes will run from Mother’s International School to Mehrauli Archaeological Park.

The parked vehicles on the sides of the road amp up the already existing plight of traffic jams in the area. These new roadways and underpasses will aid in cutting down the traffic jams while expanding the space for the vehicles.
