One of CR Park’s most famous sweet shops The Kamala Sweet Shop specialises in traditional Bengali Sweets, such as Sandesh, Rasgulla, Labang Latika, Chum Chum and Chandrapuli, along with Mishti Doi. Kanwarji’s is for its Halwa, Samosa, Kachori, and Namkeen. It is said that the Halwa is made using the family-preserved recipe, only in Desi Ghee and is flavored with Cardamom and dry-fruits. Apart from the delicious halwa, they are also known for their Bikaneri Mixture, Kashmiri Mixture, and Aloo Samosa.

Speaking of Halwas, Old Delhi’s most popular breakfast place sells delicious Gajar Halwa, Moong Dal Halwa, and Nagori Halwa. The Gajar Halwa is said to be simply amazing. It is made in Desi Ghee on low heat and is a result of continuous hours of preparation.
