Hey, fellow metro-waalon! Aren’t you tired of standing in long queues to get your metro card recharged? Well, then who is asking you to stand? You can simply get your metro card recharged via Paytm in less than 30 seconds! So keep calm and follow these simple instructions with graphic details.
30 Second Window:
- The next time you have low balance in your metro card, simply open the Paytm app on your phone. Under Recharge or Pay For select the option ‘Metro’. Then select Delhi Metro, duh!
- The next window will ask you for your metro card number & recharge amount. Now here is the catch. Your metro card number is written at the top right corner on the back of your metro card.
- Enter the same card number and the amount you wish to recharge and voila! You will receive a ‘success’ message after which all you have to do is go to the nearest balance checking machine and insert your card.
- The machine will show you your pending balance. And all you have to do then is press the ‘top up’ button and your metro card will get recharged with zero hassles!
