After Gurgaon, Liquor Shops In Noida Might Also Face Ban!

Uttar Pradesh will soon have a new excise policy. Accordingly, no liquor shops would be allowed to function along highways & near educational institutions. And even religious places & densely populated areas.

• The move was announced by CM Yogi Adityanath at the inaugural session of the BJP state executive meeting in Lucknow.
• His announcement assumes significance in the light of a number of hooch tragedies in the state in recent years.
• This move comes after a successful round of banning sale of liquor in Gurgaon!
