If you are looking for a way to combat the winter chills then Mohammed Moinuddin’s milky, sugary, buttery and salty concoction is what you need!

40 years old Mohammed Moinuddin, serves butter coffee from his roadside stall on the congested Chitli Qabar Chowk, near the Jama Masjid. The stall opens every winter evening at 5 pm and closes at 2 am.
The small roadside cafe has a large espresso machine which produces nothing except froth with great sound and fury. The rest of the café’s paraphernalia consists of a pan of hot milk already mixed with coffee powder, a tin of cocoa powder and slabs of yellow Amul butter.
It is a favourite among the people as they like to sit on cold drink crates and relish the butter coffee. The regulars claim that apart from being absolutely tasty, “it heats up the body”.
So keep down that over-priced ginger tea, and head over to taste the buttery sweet cup of heaven!
