MediaTek is the 4th largest global fabless semiconductor company. It recently organised an event – MediaTek Technology Diaries – that sought to make technology more accessible and understandable for everyone.
In fact, the aim of MediaTek Technology Diaries was to create an event that:
- Is an interactive, informative and fun series that plans to demystify the newest technologies.
- The reason behind this was to make cutting-edge technology more accessible and understandable to the general public.
The event was flagged off in Delhi at Lodhi with session masters like RJ Naved. So, while the event had a fun element, unlike most other tech-based events, some of the things that were discussed included:
- Narrow-Band IoT – a 3GPP standardised cellular based low power wide area tech which is part of the 5G era
- MediaTek NeuroPilot – it’s a cutting-edge technology with its heterogeneous computing capabilities such as CPUs, GPUs & APUs
- MiraVision – another technology that has been designed to improve video quality for smartphones by intelligently altering the hue saturation, brightness, resolution and frame rate of pictures
Moreover, MediaTek – as part of this initiative – is also planning on empowering lives in the automobile industry. More specifically, the technology they will be providing will be for self-driven cars through a turnkey solution of hardware & software.
Now, not most of you would’ve understood what we mentioned above. But that’s exactly why MediaTek is hosting these events. So, it continues to host MediaTek Technology Diaries, join the event & become a part of the future!
