If you’re one of those people who get stuck in traffic travelling to and fro from work or college, we have some good news for you! Delhi Traffic Police and municipal bodies will be starting an anti-encroachment drive on some of the worst affected areas of Delhi roads.
29 of such routes have been identified as no tolerance zones and word is that if someone parks their car illegally, the fine can go up to INR 1,000! Previous attempts to decongest the traffic affected roads had yielded no proper results due to low penalties.
Some of the roads where the decongestion drives will be carried out are – Aurobindo Marg, Mathura Road, Savitri Flyover, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, Dhaula Kuan, Sardar Patel Marg, Najafgarh Road, Pankha Road, Vikas Marg, Ring Road, and Outer Ring Road.
