Nykaa just launched 10 shades representing Indian Cities and they are 100 per cent on point! If you are a make up junkie at heart, then you have got to have Nykaa’s Matte to Last Liquid Matt lipsticks in your make up kits ASAP!
The 10 shades launched are- Madras Kapi, Bombae, Khoob-Surat, Dilli, Kudi, Mishti, Begum, Maharani, IT Girl and Guwa-hottie — inspired by Chennai, Mumbai, Surat, New Delhi, Amritsar, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru and Guwahati, respectively.
While all the shades are tempting AF, we being totally ‘dil se dilli’ are swooning over their ‘Dilli’ Shade.
It is a pinkish-nude shade and is in every way perfect for your daily and office wear.
The applicator is smooth, leaf-shaped, tapering towards the end. The consistency is thick, and on application, it takes a couple of minutes to dry out. The texture is a bit much matte.
The range is a mix of reds, pinks, and nudes. The lipstick box adorns designs or prints that in some way symbolises the city.
These lipsticks are priced at INR 550 each. They are paraben and cruelty-free. What’s more? Nykaa claims the shades to be ‘kiss-proof’ with vitamin E for all-day hydration.
Other shades in the range include IT Girl, which is a pinkish-purplish shade. Begum, which is quite similar to the IT Girl but with a darker pigmentation. The other pinks in the collection include Khoob-Surat and Kudi. Then comes Madras Kapi which is a brown nude. Maharani, which is indeed a royal red, and Guwa-hottie which is a sort of brick red, terracotta hue.
Each shade has something distinctive about it, just like each city they represent.
While we are still drooling over these 10 shades, Nykaa launched eight new shades today —MumTaj, Jaan, Boho, Gul, Mastani, LePondy, Chai and Jhumki.
