Delhi Metro has been a life savior for us all. Away from the hustle-bustle of the traffic, you get to chill in the metro regardless of the heat wave or hailstorms. Uniting Delhiites on every occasion, Delhi Metro is undoubtedly Dilli Ki Shaan. Good news for East Delhi folks, Red Line is all set to reach the interiors of Ghaziabad! Delhi Metro’s Red Line extension to Ghaziabad is set to begin passenger operations soon, DMRC has confirmed.
The 9.63-km-long corridor will connect Dilshad Garden metro station to New Bus Adda metro station in Ghaziabad. This stretch is an extension of the already existing 25-km Rithala-Dilshad Garden corridor of the Delhi Metro’s Red Line.
Although, the officials are waiting for the Uttar Pradesh government, to begin with the plan. The extension from Dilshad Garden will have eight stations-
- Shaheed Nagar,
- Raj Bagh,
- Rajendra Nagar,
- Shyam Park,
- Mohan Nagar,
- Arthala,
- Hindon River
- New Bus Adda.
