Delhi University academic council has proposed the plan of conversion of School Of Open Learning( SOL) into a college. The academic council has also decided onto some issues related to the accomplishment of the proposal.
The council decided to conduct an election to select five student members. Three chairs in the name of B R Ambedkar, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad will be set and researches will be carried out on them. The funds for the recruitment of EWS category teachers have also been allocated, but many believe the decisions that have been passed without any prior discussion with the members of committee.
