Tabula Beach Cafe Is Hosting A Night Of Films And Conversations On Sustainable Fashion

All the fashion enthusiasts out there, this one is for you! SUSSout happening at Tabula Beach Cafe is first of its kind event happening in Delhi, which will bring together people with a like-minded interest in sustainable fashion.

The event would feature film screenings and insightful conversation, and would be an opportunity for the people to understand different areas of sustainable fashion!

The event is being held during the Fashion Revolution Week, which celebrated every year from April 23rd to 29th, to mark the anniversary of the devastating Rana Plaza Factory collapse. The incident claimed the lives of over 1000 garment factory workers and injured even more on April 24th, 2013 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Every year this week consumers are encouraged to ask the question #WhoMadeMyClothes and push for a more transparent and sustainable way of fashion.

The event has got an interesting line-up of film screenings and guest speakers. The film screenings include the screenings of movies like Looms of Ladakh, and Unravel both of which cover the subject of making cloth using sustainable methods and overcoming fabric wastage!

The guest speakers for the evening include Abhilasha Bahuguna, the Project head of Looms of Ladakh, Kriti Tula, the founder of Doodlage, followed by an open conversation and SUSS Mixer.
