Literature fanatics, are you ready to lend your ears to a powerful reading of some of Tagore’s gems? The month of May this year marks the 158th birth anniversary of the maestro. And as a humble tribute, Team Parwaz & Team DBF are jointly organizing a dramatized story reading session to pay gratitude to the Nobel laureate. From his mammoth talents, they have picked up the genre of short stories for the evening.
What To Expect?
Kabiguru, Biswakavi or lovingly called Robi Thakur- Yes we are talking about the multifaceted genius, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, a polymath who is described “at once as a writer, music composer, teacher, philosopher & humanitarian, nationalist, social reformer, painter, director, choreographer, actor. His talents were manifold. His stories were impactful and have stayed with all generations.
What You’ll Love?
Tagore’s portrayal of women characters is unique in itself. The characters display distinct strengths in their own context. They are probably not heroic, but leave an indelible mark on the mind and soul of the reader.
