Missed Out Monica Dogra At DTU’s TedX? Here’s Everything That Went Down!
One of the great things that happened in this year was the number of TedX Talk Delhi College’s hosted. And one of the biggest & most influential in terms of the panel of speakers was Delhi Technological University’s TedX! The entire event centred around various themes on which opinions were shared by industry leaders.
30 Second Window:
- A plethora of industry leaders like Monica Dogra, Ms. Rajashree Agarwal & Mr. Tanmoy Chakrabarty spoke at the event. Each covered a different topic but always spoke on the same grounds when it came to change!
- Bringing about a change in the various sectors of the Indian economy and the need to transform our society drove the speakers. They discuss at length & spoke with students & enthusiasts alike!
- So, here’s what a few of the speakers had to say regarding their topic of discussion –
Monica Dogra spoke on ‘The Need for Intimacy in the Digital Age’. She aimed to highlight the lack of human connection and interaction in urban spheres and how it is eating away the very roots of our society.
Ms. Rajashree Agarwal, the specialist in probabilistic systems, AI & incentive structures, emphasised on increasing reliance on algorithms and data science. All to solve complex problems by exploring all the permutations and combinations with accuracy and speed.
Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal, Managing Director of Finnish energy company Fortum talked about the need for solar power and its significance in our progress in his talk, ‘In Search of Energy Immortality’.
Mr. Tanmoy Chakrabarty the Vice President & Global Head at the Government Industry Solutions Unit (ISU) brought to the limelight the need for reducing the digital divide and how it can reduce corruption and increase employment in the remotest parts of the country.
All the speakers had some amazing reviews on the Indian societal & economic paradigm that left the crowd more knowledgeable & in awe!
