KHIRKI VILLAGE

Located amidst the posh Saket, this village has managed to keep its archaic touch quite gracefully. Its walls are embellished with vivid graffiti artwork. Quite often referred to as the Graffiti Hub of Delhi, Khirki Village has earned the title by hosting more experimental art practice. The place now is a community for artists and art lovers across town. Think nothing and just head off straight to this gem of our city!

HAUZ KHAS VILLAGE

The vibrant walls, cute lanes and boisterous cafes and clubs of Hauz Khas village make this spot as the hub for all the hippies out there! As you stroll through the village, you cannot help but gawk at the avant-garde artwork on its walls. Get your friends and plan out a good evening of exploring the village. Trust us, you won’t regret it!

SHAHPUR JAT

As believed to be the brewing Hauz Khas Village, this tiny urban village of Delhi signifies rebellion, color and thinking out of the box. All thanks to the artistic soldiers armed with their color palettes and paintbrushes that raided this village and funked it up!

LODHI COLONY

Who would have thought that just another residential colony of Delhi had the potential to become India’s first open public art district?! The stories behind the graffiti over the walls are quite gripping. For example, the image we’ve featured here is “Colours of the Soul” by Senkoe. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Senkoe painted these birds in Lodhi colony to represent the colorful diversity of the people who live there and also to encourage them to communicate with each other and share stories, just like the birds would. Damn!

CONNAUGHT PLACE

Literally, the heart of Delhi, is there anything Connaught Place doesn’t have?! Graffiti art is spread across various walls at nooks and corners of Connaught Place. The peripheral walls of Shankar Market are like a Graffiti art gallery with characters and stories to be explored. That’s the thing with art, it gives you the freedom to interpret in your own way.
