Toy Room, Aerocity witnessed a gala time as more than 180 bartenders from across the country gathered out here for the first phase of the Ultimate Bartender Championship 2019.
The event hosted by Monkey Shoulder focused on uplifting the barkeeping skills of budding bartenders. Five thrilling challenges were thrown up to the contestants, testing their know-how on the nuts and bolts of whipping up the perfect drink.
Piyush Gouchwal, the in-house mixologist of Playground, J.W. Marriot, Aerocity was among the top five finalists of the competition and Akhilesh Sheoran of 12th – Le Meridien, Gurgaon bagged the highest score from the north zone.
This bartender championship is the top-tier global bartending competition, with the winner seizing the chance to head over to the London Cocktail Week.
