Vande Bharat Express, renowned as Train-18 is all set to provide a relief to the pilgrims in the capital as the train will soon reach to Katra, the nearest railway station to Vaishno Devi shrine, in just 8 hours.
A semi-high speed train is likely to run on this route to narrow down the travelling time from Delhi to Katra. The commuting time will reduce from 10-12 hours to just 8 hours. The train is expected to have three brief stops at Ambala, Ludhiana and Jammu Tawi. It is expected to operate five days a week after the trails get completed. We just love railways for this don’t we?
