Vasant Kunj To Delhi Airport To Become Signal Free By 2019 Thanks To Flyover Construction

Where | New Delhi

By 2019, Vasant Kunj to Delhi Airport will become signal free. The CPWD recently began construction of an underpass and two flyovers near Mahipalpur effectively making the ride hassle-free.

So, reports suggest that the construction of the underpass and flyovers will be completed by March’19. Moreover, the two major stretches – Rao Tula Ram Marg and NH48 – that usually see heavy traffic will get decongested.

In fact, the project will cut travel time from Vasant Kunj to the airport by 20 minutes. Now, that might not be much, but for all those living nearby know that the cut in travel time will be a boon.

Additionally, the underpass will be approximately 700 meters long and will be constructed near the existing Mahipalpur flyover.

And while one of the flyovers will come up near the northern access road, the other will be at the Vasant Kunj-Mahipalpur intersection.

Isn’t that absolutely great?
