Raju Puchka Wala in Market 1 has been serving delicious puchkas for more than 2 decades. His golgappas are crisp and filled with a spicy mix of chana, boiled potatoes, coriander, green chillies, tomatoes and spices. The pani they use for their puchka is equally delicious. This place also sells Bengali aloo chaat.
Kamla Sweet Shop
The Kamala Sweet Shop is the oldest sweet shop in CR Park. Their mishti doi is served in its traditional avatar, in kullhar. Their menu includes delish delights like sandesh, rasgulla, labang latika, chum chum and chandrapuli. They also serve traditional Bengali snacks, such as kachori and samosa.
Jhaal Muri Wala
Often surrounded by a hungry crowd, the Jhaal Muri Waala in Market 2 is known for their preparation. Jhaal means traditional Indian spices and muri is puffed rice. With a spicy concoction of muri, raw onions, tomatoes, sprouts, peanuts, chillies and spice, the Jhaal Muri is prepared exceptionally well and tastes amazing.
Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll
This place in CR Park Market 1 serves Bengali-style Kati rolls wrapped in paranthas. They serve a wide range of Kati rolls, such as mutton, chicken, paneer and kebab. The rolls are stuffed generously and the stuffings they use is made with fresh materials.
