One of the biggest, busiest theatres in Delhi, Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts is a playwright’s haven. In fact, the auditorium cum performing centre hosts daily programs that are named ‘Internal Program‘. Moreover, they also host plays performed by the various theatre groups in Delhi.

2. Seher India

Seher literally means ‘breaking of dawn‘. Founded in 1994, the performing arts centre is synonymous with thoughtful and imaginative initiatives in theatre, painting, dance, music, literature and music! Moreover, the centre hosts two major festivals in one year; a. Ananya – a classical Indian dance festival & b. Bhakti Utsav – a festival of devotional music.

3. Oddbird Theatre

Oddbird Theatre is Delhi’s most loved organisation. It hosts plays, musicals & workshops almost on a daily basis. In fact, its aim is to increase public engagement with performance arts & to follow it up with the facilitation of conversation. Currently, it’s hosting a Clowning Workshop until tomorrow. However, they will be back with Dastaan Live from 20th July until 22nd July.

4. Akshara Theatre

Akshara Theatre was founded in 1972 by Gopal Sharman. With an aim to build Delhi’s foremost theatre complex, Akshara today has 4 performance spaces for live performance, equipped with light and sound equipment. Additionally, it also has a library, shooting and editing studios, sound studios among other facilities.

5. Sukhmanch Theatre
