The battle between which city is better – with Delhi at its centre – has been going on for years now. However, regardless of how silly and hilarious these things might sound to us, outsiders usually do get comfortable with Delhi. So, without further ado, let’s check out these ‘hilariously silly’ statements, shall we?
I. By Street Food You Mean Chandni Chowk, Lajpat And Our Neighbourhood Friedly Momowala
Living in Delhi, one does not always get to eat out at a fancy place. In fact, while many in the southern states may call it living on the cheap, you know what? You’re right!! Because we just LOVE Dolma Aunty, Paranthe Wali Gali etc. and if you too checked them out, you’d fall in love instantly!
II. Drivers Are So F****** Rude
Well, frankly, if you asked for it, you will get it! Unless of course, you meet that certain someone who never graduated from, “jaanta hai mera baap kaun hai?”
III. Everything Is So Expensive, We’ll Go Broke Within Seconds

IV. Delhi Is So Dead, There Are No Good Places To Check Out
So, outsiders! The only reason you find that Delhi has no interesting places to check out is that you just don’t want to explore it. Also, all the Delhiites have explored everything worth checking out, so don’t blame us. Blame yourself!
V. Delhi Roads Are The World’s Worst. PERIOD.
REALLY? Have you ever been to Mumbai before? If you think Delhi roads are f*****, Mumbai roads will KILL YOU!
VI. Delhiites Are A Bunch Of Arrogant Fools
Frankly, if you didn’t hate us so much, this side of us would never come up! Basically, you asked for it!!
VIII. Delhi Is Far Less Developed Than Mumbai
Do you really wanna be embarrassed further? From buses to metro, skyscrapers to bungalows and societies. FORGET THAT! At least Delhi societies have their own playgrounds for the kids, what do you have? Oh yeah, dump yards and an open sewage! Great comeback haters!
