In a reverse swing from the usual thinking that students prefer going to private schools, this news comes as a surprise! The government Sarvodaya co-ed senior secondary school in Rohini boasts of swanky building structures, a state of the art science laboratory and much more!

- Past few years have shown that students are deliberately shifting to government schools from private ones! Reason being that the facilities provided in the former far surpass the ones found in private schools.
- According to a report, student Harsh Rawat moved to the newly constructed government school. And now, he claims that the government is far better than his former school.
- Harsh is among 900 students, who moved from private schools to the Sector 21 government Co-ed Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. The school currently has 1,200 students.
- The school, that opened on April 1, boasts of a swanky building with 69 rooms. Including a yoga room, music room, mathematics & science laboratory.
- The vice-principal of the school said 99% students in Class 11 left private schools where they were paying fee of INR 1,000-3,000 per month.
