Section 377 Is Abolished Now. But Is that All? Let’s Have A Talk About It.

The society where we grow up tends to put us in boxes, little boxes, bigger boxes. Boxes which look just the same. But those who don’t fit into those boxes, who are they? Who fits in those boxes? And who doesn’t? India recently legalized love and abolished the section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, and we saw the colors of pride fly high in Delhi last week. But as we all know, this is just the beginning of the changes that need to happen.

In the light of these issues and coping with everything that comes with the colors of the rainbow, Nazariya: A Queer Feminist Resource Group is organizing a talk about gender and sexuality and the LGBTIQK+ community and issues that may connect or disconnect ‘us’ and ‘them’?

What To Expect At The Event?

It’s a non-residential workshop on gender equality and sexuality where you will talk and meet with people from the community who have gone through the odds of the system and came out stronger on the other side. We suggest you go in without any expectations and you will learn a lot more than you intended to.
