We have been waiting all year for the winters to arrive so that we can set afoot and explore the city! The morning mist, the cold air, the ability to stay outdoors part 10 in the morning, winters are the best time to get to know the city you live in. The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has been organizing heritage walks and cycling tours around the city. As a part of the Shahjahanabad walk festival that INTACH is organizing, the next walk is titled ‘Shahjahanabad: Din wa Duniya”
What to Expect?
Early morning walks with like-minded people in the streets of Old Delhi while learning about the rich heritage of the city that was once known as Shahjahanabad. How exciting is that! INTACH aims at creating awareness about the key heritage areas within the city and help citizens relate to the city they live in.
What You’ll Love About The Event?
The heritage walks take place every weekend, in different parts of the city. Keep an eye on their Instagram for more details about future walks. The walks are very affordable and on cycling tours, you will be provided with cycles in great conditions!
Bottom Line
If you are someone who believes in going on the offbeat track to explore the unexplored parts of a city, this is for you! Register now, and don’t be disheartened if this walk is full. There will be more.
