Delhi Just Got A New Heritage Park Dating Back To The 14th Century

It’s time to move over Lodhi Garden people! There’s a sprawling new heritage park in Delhi & it’s looking absolutely gorgeous.

So, the 90 acres Sunder Nursery has opened at the Humayun’s Tomb compound after a 10 years of restoration.

The park, dubbed Delhi’s Central Park, is home to 15 monuments, marble fountains and gardens. In fact, it also has long sandstone pathways, water bodies, nursery beds and an amphitheatre.

The Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) has restored Sunder Nursery and even though it has only been a month since it opened, locals are already calling it ‘Delhi’s Central Park’.

The gardens at Delhi’s Central Park has beautiful blooming flowers. Basically, the place offers everything a person would need for some alone time.

So, the next time you visit Humayun’s TOmb, don’t forget to check out this beautiful new garden!
