So, this Sunday onward, passengers travelling in Delhi metro airport line will be able to buy tix on their phones! Isn’t that absolutely crazy and easy-peasy af?

But how does it work? Well, passengers will be able to use the QR code base facility on their to purchase the tix. In fact, Ridlr App would enable passengers to buy the tix without being physically present at the station.
Moreover, the process is as simple as:
- Buy a QR ticker from the app by selecting origin, destination and number of passengers
- After paying the fee, the app will display the QR code for the journey
- Tap the QR or the AFC gates in the various stations
Additionally, all 6 metro stations of the Airport Express Line now have sets of two AFC gates with QR code scanner. One each for exiting and entering the stations.
The QR codes can be purchased between 04:00 hours and 10 minutes prior to the advertised train timing.
