So, there might be a shut down of Delhi Metro services tomorrow. DMRC staffers will be going on an indefinite strike from tomorrow onward.

Delhi Metro Services: A fairytale timebomb

The Delhi metro employs 12,000 people with non-executive staff numbering 9,000. In fact, protests have been going on since June 19th by the non-executive staffers like train operators, station controllers, technicians etc.

Also, they’ll be going on a hunger strike while at work. Moreover, their demands range from forming a DMRC employees union to better pay and implementation of Industrial Dearness Allowance!

Further, there will be a stoppage in Delhi Metro Services, as said by an official!
