So, have you guys checked out Delhi Metro’s Pink Line? It was one of the most awaited launches and we’re giving ya all the details here!

1. Access to 4 South Delhi markets

This will probably be the biggest boon for South Campus peeps! In fact, the 8.1 km long corridor will allow you to travel to markets like Sarojini Nagar, INA, South Extension & Lajpat Nagar.

2. Two interchange stations

The new corridor will have two interchange stations, one at Lajpat Nagar (for Violet Line) & the other at INA (for Yellow Line).

3. 6 stations on the corridor will be underground

That’s right people, a total of 6 stations in the new corridor are underground. However, with the one exception: Moti Bagh! Rest is all underground and it may, in fact, make you walk a lot to reach the surface.

4. Frequency & number of trains

Firstly, Monday to Saturday, 20 trains will run in a single loop with a frequency of 5 minutes and 25 seconds.

Secondly, on Sundays, 9 trains will run with a frequency of 5 minutes and 45 seconds.

5. Remaining sections?

Lastly, peeps, the remaining section of the Pink Line is likely to open by September.
