Here’s the fact and it’s no lie! Delhi has been ranked last in a list of 14 cities in India with high vehicular emission levels.
So, the study was conducted by an independent organisation. In fact, the study also showed that Delhi ranked the worst in terms of the following things:
- Energy consumption
- Overall toxic emissions
- Heat-trapping emission
Moreover, the reasons presented for the overall ranking of Delhi was based on the following pointers:
- An extremely high volume of vehicles
- And a relatively higher population than other cities
However, while Delhi has done well in some aspects of urbanisation, it still lacks a lot!
