Has it happened with you that you realized that Delhi is overloaded with human beings? Rajiv Chowk, Sarojini Nagar, Central Park phewww…(running out of oxygen!). Plus, there is a queue for everything. How about when this population doubles or triples up?
India’s capital city is the world’s second most populous urban agglomeration. According to a United Nations report released in mid-2018, Delhi could be the world’s most populous city by 2028 with 37.2 million people. That is eight million more in just 10 years.
But the question is, is the city even ready for a population blast? Will Delhi be even worth living in? What about the pollution increase? Are we prepared at all for this population explosion? Ready or not, POPULATION IS COMING.
