So, we knew our Delhi’s a big, fast-paced, growth-oriented city. But here’s something that may or may not come as a surprise to you. Delhi’s National Capital Region has been ranked the sixth metro area out of 300 fastest growing best-performing metro areas. Standing just behind Beijing, the NCR region has been ranked so, according to a Brookings study called the Global Metro Monitor.
Delhi NCR: World’s 6th Fastest Growing Metro Area
- Delhi NCR outperformed other Indian metro area cities, namely Hyderabad and Mumbai.
- By acing the two strongest magnets of migration- job opportunities and standard of living. ( generating over 6 lakh jobs during 2014-16!)
- Global top three metros were Dublin, San Jose and Chengdu in China.
