While we were all busy celebrating Mothers’ Day this Sunday, Delhi Zoo Authorities gave the city a present too! Earlier the zoo authorities had set up pram services for infants and toddlers and now they have opened breastfeeding cabins! How great is that!?!

Now women visiting the zoo with their newborns wouldn’t have to be prey to the lecherous glares of passers-by or combat the scorching heat while feeding their babies.

These breastfeeding cabins were opened in the National Zoological Park on Sunday, 13th May, to celebrate Mothers’ Day. This was a part of the authorities’ efforts to make the experience more fun for the visitors. It will allow lactating mothers feed their children without any disturbance.

The zoo authorities had also set up pram services for people visiting with small kids, infants, and toddlers. There are around 10 prams available at the main gate there, and the parents can use them for free.

Looks like the city is finally taking baby steps to help the mothers of Delhi!
