Since the dreamcatchers available in the market are too expensive, now you can learn to make/weave a Dreamcatcher in a spider web style and the symbolism of this Native American medicine wheel.

There are a lot of legends and myths that go about regarding the history of dreamcatchers. The most popular one is that the Ojibwa Tribe used dreamcatchers while they used to sleep.  Another legend tells the tale of a spider weaving its web over a child’s bed. When the child tried to kill the spider, his grandmother stopped him. The grateful spider gifted the grandmother with the web and told her that it would catch all of her bad dreams and let through the good ones.

While the stories are all fascinating, the real thing is as mystical as it sounds.

So, head over to this dreamcatcher making workshop this Sunday and say goodbye to all those bad dreams, All the materials required shall be provided to you at the venue.
