Who doesn’t love spending time amidst the beauty, peace, and calmness of nature? Well, we have a news! For all you people who just cannot do without a lot of green and the smell of fresh flowers around you, the 31st edition of the Garden Tourism Festival is coming to town!
This three-day floral extravaganza is not only going to bring a breath of fresh air to the city, but also create awareness about the environment, and spend awareness about the importance of nature!
The festival is being organised by Delhi Tourism in association with the Delhi Government. The theme for this year’s festival is “Grow Gardens: Save Delhi”. It is to emphasise the importance of gardening in everyone’s daily life and highlight its strengths and weaknesses.
Apart from the 22 acres of land lined with colourful flowers, this year’s festival will also display terrariums, floral animals, potted plants, foliage, medicinal and herbal plants, hanging baskets, a variety of flowers and many other plants and accessories to choose from.
The fun doesn’t end here guys! There is going to be live Sufi, folk and cultural performances, magic shows, on-the-spot painting competitions for kids, and a LARGE array of food stalls that will serve delicacies from around the country.
So, mark your calendars guys! This is going to be a green-tastic experience!
