The House of Sanjoli is hosting a one of its kind exhibition featuring some of the freshest and newest Chikankari designs there are. These designs are going to be a combination of the undying beauty of Chikankari combined with the regal effect of Gota Patti!
At this exhibition-cum-sale, you can get your hands on suits, kurtas, or unstitched suit pieces.
For those not in the know, Chikankari is traditional embroidery style from Lucknow. If literally translated, the word itself means embroidery. It is a delicate and artfully done hand- embroidery on a variety of textile fabrics like cotton, silk or mainly chiffon or georgette.
Chikan work in recent times has adapted additional embellishments like Mukaish, sequins and the most recent Gota Patti.
So if you have been looking to add the touch of the Mughal art to your wardrobe, this exhibition is absolutely perfect for you where Chikankari meets Gota Patti!
