Getting A Driving License To Get Tougher From 2019
- Owing to the rise in road accidents and crashes, which were, as statistics go- around 1,505 in last year with around 6,331 people critically injured, Delhi transport department decides to take stringent actions.
- For better road safety, the transport department will be introducing tougher driving tests to ensure to select only trained drivers to get a permanent driving license.
- Automated test tracks will be ready by the end of this year. They will stimulate tougher driving conditions, thereby testing the applicant’s range of driving skills.
- The driving test will also be recorded on sensor-based CCTV cameras.
