In an official statement today, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar proposed a plan to expand the Delhi Metro connectivity to Sonipat. And those of you who travel to the city in Haryana often must rejoice!
According to the statement, the CM mentioned that
“The proposal regarding the expansion of Metro train up to Kundli has been prepared. Rapid Metro and other options are being considered to connect areas beyond Kundli.”
He also said that land for the Rail Coach Factory in Sonipat has been transferred to Railways and the foundation stone would be laid soon.
So, we’re hoping that soon all of us would be able to travel to Sonipat faster, more conveniently and in a better fashion!
