The AAP govt. has decided to roll out 1.4 lakh CCTV cameras across the capital city and subsidise the power consumed by them. It’s an initiative by the govt. to bolster the safety of women in Delhi.
Two thousand cameras have been proposed to be installed in each of the 70 constituencies. Jitender Singh Tomar, the AAP MLA representing Tri Nagar, has notified that the CCTV installation survey has been completed in his constituency. Sarita Singh, representing Rohtash Nagar, has assured that the survey in her constituency is nearing completion.
Subsidizing CCTVs outside homes is defo gonna urge a significant number of city residents to install CCTV cams on the outer walls of their houses. This remarkable effort by the govt. will create a whole new realm of security in the city.
So don’t wait further and collect your ‘undertaking’ form at the soonest.
