The Magic of Harry Potter: Literature Appreciation Workshop- What to expect?
This month-long literature appreciation workshop is targeted at budding authors, literature junkies, and of course die-hard Potterheads.
The workshop will be spread over nine sessions, and if you have been waiting for your Hogwarts acceptance letter since you were 11-year-old, then this workshop is the perfect place for you to meet your fellow Potterheads and get a chance to share your fanfictions and theories with them.
The Magic of Harry Potter: Literature Appreciation Workshop- What you’ll love?
Apart from being a part of Harry Potter’s magical universe, you’ll get to indulge in deep conversations on the various themes of Harry Potter like death, love and morality in the books, to various pointed discussions about specific characters.
And the adventure doesn’t just end here guys! There is an exciting line-up of fun activities in each session pertaining to the relevant theme. The themes for each day will be:
- 17th November- The Boy Who Lived: The Universal Appeal of Harry Potter- Magic, Reason and Reality
- 21st November- Friendship in Harry Potter: “Then you should have died for your friends, as we would have for you!” The Trio and the Marauders- Life and Beyond
- 24th November- Love, A Magic Like No Other: Dissecting Love in Harry Potter
- 28th November- A Certain Kind of Feminism: The Contribution and Character of Hermione Granger
- 1st December- Albus Dumbledore: The Figure of the Mentor
- 5th December- The Harry Potter Brand: A Cinematic Journey
- 8th December – Fan Fiction, Pottermore, and Do We Want an Eighth Harry Potter?
- 11th December- “Death is nothing but the next great adventure”: Death in Harry Potter
- 15th December– Is It Time to Criticize Harry Potter? Problems Critics Have
