Started as a residential complex with a commercial twist in 1887, the three story Haveli now boasts of 14 exquisitely designed rooms that promise to take its occupants on a ride to the Mughal times. Haveli Dharampura recently opened its bar, Lakhori, and its rooftop; that together take the visitors for a visual treat of the Jama Masjid, Red Fort and the busy by lanes of the heart of Old Delhi. While Lakhori has the usual bevy of single malts, gins, tequila and beer; the special menu boasts of three classic martinis that include green apple and watermelon. However, we would also recommend that you look at the Haveli special section that features Dariba Narangi (a mix of orange juice, grenadine and tequila), Meena Bazar (vodka and Blue Curacao) and the famous Pancharatna. Wine lovers also have a reason to visit the hotel as it has an extensive collection of bottles that will take your taste buds for a trip round the globe.
Don’t worry our non-alcoholic friends! Lakhori also has an extensive mocktail menu that will lift your spirits. Drinks include Jahan Ara, Patangbaz Sangria and chai-biscuit along with thick and luscious smoothies that promise to put a smile on your faces.
