Sahitya Aaj Tak – India’s biggest Hindi Literature Fest Is Back!

Delhi has been the home of some of the greatest Hindi poets and authors. The home to Mirza Ghalib, this city calls to Hindi literature like its going back to its roots! While we have festivals and gatherings for literature in general, we see a majority of English literature taking over the gatherings.
If you are an enthusiast of Hindi literature, this is your moment to rejoice. Aaj Tak announces the 3rd Edition of the successful literary festival, Sahitya Aaj Tak– a three-day Hindi Literature Festival and one of the nation’s biggest confluence of the greatest names from various disciplines of literature. The festival is scheduled for the 16th, 17th & 18th of November at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi.

What To Expect At The Event? 

The festival will see the presence of literary stalwarts renowned for their works in Hindi, Urdu, Awadhi, Bhojpuri, and Punjabi. It will have sessions in which top TV anchors will interact with guests from various fields like art, cinema, music, theatre, and politics. The celebration of literature and all that it stands for will be even grander in Sahitya Aaj Tak 2018.

What You’ll Love About the Event? 

In the 3rd edition of Sahitya -2018, singers Javed Ali, Malini Awasthi, and the legendary Wadali brothers will be in attendance. Actor and poet Piyush Mishra, screenwriter Prasoon Joshi, and the great Javed Akhtar will enthrall the audience with the magic in their words. Actors Deepti Naval and Shekhar Suman will talk about theatre while Governor of Goa Mridula Sinha will share her wisdom on Indian Literature.
Many more celebrities like actor Annu Kapoor, writer Chetan Bhagat, Shayar Rahat Indori will be present will a great many others.
