The 17th of March is World Poetry day and to honour the art form, Kunzum travel cafe along with Kommune is hosting a nationwide celebration of poetry. There will be open mics all across the nation, all at the same time! How exciting is that? Read on to know the details.
What To Expect?
If you’ve been drawn by the events that Kunzum Travel cafe conducts, then this is going to be yet another amazing one! This one involves poetry. The format is pretty simple. Open mics where around 15 artists will be performing live on stage. Attendees at the event will put their names in a hat, from where performers will be picked at random by the host.
This is all a part of Kommune’s World Poetry Day celebrations where they will be conducting open mics in 10 cities simultaneously. Across the country, poets will be performing at the same time, on the same theme, reminding us of the power of poetry.
