The first festival of 2019 is here we wish you a very Happy Lohri. Lohri always has an aura of warmth feels like hearth when this feastival is around. And it’s always better to have like-minded people around you to share a talk with, some music to soothe you and yes, good food to complete it all. So, if the bonfire ritual is not your plan this year then IHC is hosting a Lohri Celebration in Stein Auditorium just for you.
What To Expect?
IHC Lohri Celebrations presents the composer-poet & vocalist Madan Gopal Singh; guitarist and banjo player Deepak Castelino; sarod player Pritam Ghosal and percussionist Amjad Khan. The evening will conclude with a performance by guest artist and pop sensation, Jasbir Jassi
What You’ll Love?
Well, you’d simply love the food here! A special buffet created for the occasion by Old World Hospitality chefs will have traditional dishes like sarson da saag, makki di roti, mahcholian di dal, keema chakundari, dhabe ka kukkad, Amritsari kulcha, Amritsari aloo wadi, Amritsari machhi, and rabdi. Some unusual recipes from the heart of Punjab, like the Ganne ke Raski Kheer feature on the Lohri menu as well.
